Behind the scenes of all successful businesses is a person who's craving for growth and expansion never ever ends. It starts with YOU. Your business, your income, your impact... In my almost 2 years since I birthed The Rebel Soul, LLC I feel like I’ve moved into a space of achieving more, doing more, making more but no matter how much I achieved, did or made, I was still feeling like something was off. What I was unaware that I was doing and not dealing (or healing) with all the experiencing, limiting beliefs, and trauma that was keeping me stuck.
The moment I realized by avoiding dealing and stepping into the healing work, I wasn’t living in my highest vibration or expressing from my highest truth, everything shifted and my heart softened.
In order for the outside world to expand, grow and become more abundant, you must dig up the dirt, heal your shit and get rooted in love.
I knew my resistance was the most obvious sign ever because resistance is always a beautiful sign of a massive shift is on it’s way. It’s very common to experience a bit of pressure before we breakthrough.
But this was so fucking different. I felt resistant to ANYTHING that led me to looking at myself. At one point, any time meditation or even therapy was brought up I would swiftly change the subject, get quiet, find something else I’d rather be doing to numb myself out, or simply get angry and lash out.
I told myself that my environment was full of limitations.
I told myself I couldn’t afford going bigger.
I told myself it’s too hard.
But really… I felt scared to truly look at myself because I was afraid of what I’d find. I wasn’t interested in the pain that inevitably comes with healing your shit and the discomfort of the storm of emotions that rise up.

Staying stuck kept me feeling alone and worried I’d stay forever in this state of doubt, in constant limbo and always questioning.

Needing my husband or peers to constantly give me pep talks, or push myself to make high sales months just to feel worthy of charging what felt good and aligned.

Deeply desiring my family members or close friends constantly give me praise for the massive changes I’ve made in my life so I could feel like they loved me more.

Numbing out with scrolling social media kept me feeling jealous of others who were showing up constantly, making it all look effortless.

Comparing myself to others kept me annoyed by all the seemingly perfect highlight reels and in this constant state of lack and never-enoughness.
Rather than pulling myself forward toward my vision, these unconscious habits kept me feeling STUCK and my faith INCONSISTENT.
I had to slow down and embody flow, even if I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. There was still this underlying current of hesitation around healing my old stories-- the lies made me feel safe and the truth had me constantly questioning “Is this real? Is this safe? Can I really lean in and relax”.
Trust me, I know all about safety issues and feeling safe in my hustle. I was addicted to mine for over 5 years. I was running my business on impulsive quick fixes, someone else’s affirmations, split energy and a strategy that didn’t make me want to jump out of bed in the morning. No off switch and avoidance kept me in survival mode.
It took me burning completely the fuck out to realize… I’m being called to slow down, sit with palms up and receive the unconditional love and healing of Source.
To get rooted in love.
To rise into a new space.
To lean into a new version of myself.
To be who I’ve always been.
I’m Ruthie Cease, a Spiritual Money Coach, Digital Course Creator, wife to Kevin and Mom to Liam and Logan. Teaching about all things healing, money, energy, spiritual teachings, creation and sales are like basically my favorite things ever.
In August of 2017, after 4+ years running a network marketing business focused around health and fitness, I started to have this underlying nudge that this wasn’t the end all be all for me-- I was made for so much fucking more...and I was really starting to feel the pain of that business slowly falling apart. I quit my full time job in December of 2017 to focus solely on my business, and boy it has been a constant learning game full of experiences that have shaped me into the teacher I am today. Everything I've been through, I've chosen to transmute and turn into a lesson of love. Without my pain, I wouldn't have a purpose and it is my mission to show others it is safe to heal their shit and get unstuck.
